Precious Plastic
The increasing demand for environmentally friendly alternatives in everyday life, especially in the area of personal hygiene, is increasing. Block soaps offer a solution to minimize plastic waste from disposable shampoo bottles. In a 6-week project I developed a travel box for block soaps made of recycled polypropylene. The case serves as a single item for storage in the bathroom. If a second one is added, it can be rotated 180 degrees, placed on top of each other and connected with a hair tie to form a compact box. Perfect for traveling or for the weekly use after training.Using the 3D printing method, I produced a mold that can be used for a small series.Thank you Precious Plastic for your support and letting me use your DIY injection molding machine.
